Με μεγάλη συμμετοχή και έντονο δημιουργικό ενδιαφέρον ολοκληρώθηκε το Thessaloniki Public Transport 2.0 Hackathon, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 14 – 15 Μαρτίου 2026 στη Θεσσαλονίκη, συγκεντρώνοντας ομάδες συμμετεχόντων που ανέπτυξαν ιδέες και προτάσεις για το μέλλον των δημόσιων συγκοινωνιών της πόλης.

🥇 Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά ανακοινώνονται οι νικητές των δύο προκλήσεων της διοργάνωσης:

Στην Πρόκληση 1 «Βελτιστοποίηση του υφιστάμενου συγκοινωνιακού έργου του ΟΣΕΘ», νικήτρια αναδεικνύεται η ομάδα Thesstopo, με μέλη τους:

• Νίκος Ευμορφόπουλος
• Δημήτρης Κακαμούκας Στεφάνου
• Γιώργος Κουρέας
• Γιάννος Κωστούλας
• Πέτρος Λούλο

Στην Πρόκληση 2 «Δημιουργία του σχεδίου δράσης του ΟΣΕΘ για στόλο λεωφορείων μηδενικών εκπομπών», το πρώτο βραβείο απονέμεται από κοινού, λόγω ισοβαθμίας, στις ομάδες:

Rerouters, με μέλη τους:

• Αποστολία Γκέκα
• Μαριλένα Τράκα
• Βασίλης Χατζηγεωργίου
• Δέσποινα Ψαρρά

και

S.K.GRID, με μέλη τους:

• Φίλιππος Αθανασιάδης
• Γιώργος Κατριλάκας
• Λεωνίδας Μπουτσικάρης

Οι προτάσεις των ομάδων ανέδειξαν δημιουργικές και εφαρμόσιμες ιδέες για το μέλλον της αστικής κινητικότητας στη Θεσσαλονίκη, χρησιμοποιώντας τα εργαλεία των IDIADA και ΕΚΕΤΑ/ΙΜΕΤ για τον σχεδιασμό λειτουργίας ηλεκτρικών λεωφορείων και υποδομών φόρτισης.

Η εκδήλωση διοργανώθηκε από τον Οργανισμό Συγκοινωνιακού Έργου Θεσσαλονίκης (ΟΣΕΘ), με την υποστήριξη του Εθνικού Κέντρου Έρευνας & Τεχνολογικής Ανάπτυξης – Ινστιτούτο Μεταφορών (ΕΚΕΤΑ/ΙΜΕΤ) στο πλαίσιο του έργου E‑MED του προγράμματος Interreg Euro-MED. Στην εκδήλωση συνδράμει το European Institute of Innovation and Technology Urban Mobility (EIT UM) ως Delivery and Programme Partner.

Announcement of Winners – Thessaloniki Public Transport 2.0 Hackathon

With high participation and strong creative interest, the Thessaloniki Public Transport 2.0 Hackathon concluded successfully. The event took place on March 14 – 15, 2026, in Thessaloniki, gathering teams who developed ideas and proposals for the future of the city’s public transport.

🥇 We are delighted to announce the winners of the two challenges of the event:

Challenge 1: “Optimization of the existing transport network of OSETH”
The winning team is Thesstopo, consisting of:

• Nick Evmorfopoulos
• Giorgos Koureas
• Giannos kostoulas
• Dimitris Kakamoukas Stefanou
• Petros Loulo 

Challenge 2: “Creation of OSETH’s action plan for a zero-emission bus fleet”
The first prize is jointly awarded, due to a tie, to the teams:

• Despina Psarra

and

S.K.GRID, with members:

• Filippos Athanasiadis
• Giorgos Katrilakas

The teams’ proposals highlighted creative and feasible ideas for the future of urban mobility in Thessaloniki, using the tools of IDIADA and CERTH/HIT for the design of electric bus operations and charging infrastructure.
